Morongo Valley Realty

Morongo Valley is at the edge of the Sand to Snow Monument, and is full of surprises. The Big Morongo Canyon Preserve is a hidden jewel to most people driving through, and is a favorite among bird watchers and hikers. Located 20 minutes from Palm Springs and 20 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park it's in the center of two different worlds.

We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

The tight knit community of almost 4000 residents holds regular events at Covington Park which includes a skateboard park, playground and a community center. Another hidden treasure is the Fellow Earthlings Wildlife Center, which is the home for retired Meerkats. This is closed to the public, but donations are welcome, and an adoption program can gain opportunity to be placed onto a visitor list. The Morongo Valley Cafe houses a small museum of historic photos that are a joy to look at, and the food is great! Wide open spaces are perfect for horse lovers, and there are many equestrian enthusiasts in and around the area. If you don't have a horse of your own, maybe visit the Crazy Horse Ranch, Coyote Riding Stable or the Cottonwood Canyon Ranch. For the gardeners, we have a first class nursery, Cactus Mart, they sell a wide variety of desert friendly plants as well as some really great yard art. If you are interested in guns, then this is another cool thing to know, the Hi-Desert Rod & Gun Club Range is available for you to get your target practice done. This little town also has the smallest live performance theatre in the country, Groves Cabin Theatre, and it is a joy to attend, space is limited, so get your tickets quick. I hope this gives you some insight into this small but mighty community.
